PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily introduce a final tensile force to a chord material upon construction of a tense grid structure. SOLUTION: When a structural object having the tense grid structure is constructed, split bodies C, having the form that the entire structural object is split into a plurality of blocks, are constructed in advance. The entire structural body is completed by connecting the split bodies to each other. When each of the split bodies is constructed in advance, a temporary tensile force larger than the tensile force to be applied finally is introduced to a diagonal member 4 of the outermost peripheral part of the split body. When the split bodies are connected to each other, the temporary tensile force introduced to the diagonal member is released and is passed from the diagonal member to the chord member 5 to introduce the tensile force to the chord member.
