PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy resin composition which can give a cured product excellent in heat resistance. SOLUTION: The epoxy resin composition comprises an epoxy resin which is a phenol/glyoxal type polyfunctional epoxy resin containing 50% or more (in terms of an areal% as measured by high-performance liquid chromatography) compound represented by formula (1) and an acid anhydride-type epoxy resin curing agent.
