PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear transfer mechanism or the like capable of transferring a rectangular solid like object only in the transferring direction wherein the longitudinal direction is along a predetermined transferring direction. SOLUTION: The linear transfer mechanism 13 is equipped with a transfer member 14 wherein a V shape guide groove 14a opening to the upper surface is formed along the predetermined transferring direction, and a vibrator 15 which supports the transfer member 14 and transmits vibration to the member to transfer the rectangular solid like object H along the guide groove 14a. In the transfer member 14, the upper surface of both sides across the guide groove 14a has a step difference between them, and a low section wherein the upper surface of one side 14b, and the low section wherein the upper surface of the other side 14c in the transfer section. The height of the top surface of low height part is set to be the height that is inverted by the vibration applied from the vibrator 15 to the transfer member 14, and discharged to the out of the transfer system when the object H is transferred in an uprising state wherein the outer peripheral surface in the longitudinal direction contacts an inclined surface of the guide groove 14a continued to the top surface.
