<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device capable of controlling the band property of an interpolator appropriately in accordance with a received signal. <P>SOLUTION: The communication device is provided with a prestage processor for performing orthogonal demodulation of a modulation signal, and outputting a baseband signal of digital format, an interpolation processor for performing interpolation processing for adjusting a phase error with respect to a sampling timing on the basis of the baseband signal outputted from the prestage processor, generating and outputting a baseband signal synchronized with the sampling timing, and a poststage processor for performing wave shaping of the baseband signal outputted from the interpolation processor and outputting it.
