PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print various images to be a high image quality in a long printing mode.

SOLUTION: A halftone means 53 of a printing controlling data generating apparatus 56 continuously carries out a halftone processing at a boundary between pages when images of the preceding and succeeding pages continue at the boundary between the pages in the case of the long printing mode. When images of the preceding and succeeding pages do not continue at the boundary between the pages in the case of the long printing mode, the halftone means 53 starts the halftone processing again from the head of the page after the boundary. A printing controlling data generating means 54 generates printing controlling data used for controlling printing of a printer 2 by using a printing dot pattern generated by the halftone processing of the halftone means 53.
