PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a heat exchanger capable of securing a prescribed clearance between a storing part of the heat exchanger and a side plate of the heat exchanger when the heat exchanger is mounted on a cabinet of an indoor unit, allowing water drops generated near the side of the heat exchanger by internal dew condensation of the indoor unit to flow downward by laterally supporting the heat exchanger, and enduring lateral moving load of the heat exchanger. SOLUTION: In this mounting structure for mounting the heat exchanger 4 on the cabinet 6 of the indoor unit X, one or more projecting piece 20c capable of being kept into contact with a side wall of the storing portion 11 storing the heat exchanger 4 in the cabinet 6, is projected from the heat exchanger side plate 20 connected with a side end portion of the heat exchanger 4 and supporting the heat exchanger 4, and the heat exchanger side plate 20 is fixed to the cabinet 6 in a state that the prescribed clearance d is secured to the side wall of the storing portion 11 and a tip of the projecting piece 20c is kept into contact with the side wall of the storing portion 11.
