<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane separator which is constituted so as to rationalize a membrane washing interval by eliminating the non-uniformity of the adhesion or deposition amount on the surfaces of membranes between respective filter membrane modules, in a case that the solid-liquid separation of water to be treated in a water treatment process such as wastewater treatment or the like using an activated sludge treatment method or the like is performed by an immersion type membrane separator wherein a plurality of the filter membrane modules are arranged, to enhance treatment efficiency, and a membrane separation method. <P>SOLUTION: In the membrane separator which is equipped with a plurality of the filter membrane modules arranged so as to be immersed in a water treatment tank and a permeated water pipe having a suction pump provided thereto so that the filter membrane modules are connected to the permeated water pipe through branch pipes, and constituted so that water to be treated is sucked by the suction pump to be permeated through the filter membrane modules to obtain treated water; in order to equalize the sucking forth of water to be treated, the filter membrane modules 2a, 2b, 2c and 2d are connected by the branch pipes 4 and 4 to constitute filter membrane module bodies 3a and 3b which are, in turn, connected by a branch pipe 4a to equalize the piping resistance between the respective filter membrane modules and the suction pump 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
