PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple water cutt-off device having a simple structure at low cost and requiring no power and maintenance and inspection in particular. SOLUTION: This simple water cutt-off device is composed of a pair of mullions 10, 10 erected at an entrance E of a house, a garden, and a garage and a water cutt-off plate 1 to which packings 2, 2 abutted on the mullions are attached. Hooks 3, 3 and locking pins 14, 14 are provided in the water cutt-off plate 1 and the mullions 10, 10, respectively. Consequently, the water cutt-off plate 1 is detachably set to the mullions 10, 10.
