PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recorder capable of improving the yield by compensating positional deviation of a deposited dot due to a step of a chip on a long inkjet head having a connected part and of printing a high quality image. SOLUTION: The steps of at least two or more chips are measured. The printing is carried out by adequately adjusting a distance between the head and a paper sheet according to the step.
