PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker allowing a user to easily and surely set various types of conditions and, after the setting, allowing the user to easily confirm the state of the rice cooker at that time despite a multifunctional rice cooker. SOLUTION: This rice cooker is so constituted that when an input means inputs various types of setting conditions of the heating state of a pot into a control means, a notification means notifies the setting conditions of the input means and the control state of a driving means for controlling the heating means by sound or voice; and that the notification means notifies the setting conditions of the input means, the control state of the driving means or the operation state of the rice cooker by the voice of a desired volume by operating a specific switch in the input means.
