A sidewall for a trailer and a method of forming same is provided. The sidewall includes a frame having a top rail, a bottom rail and a plurality of posts extending between the top rail and the bottom rail. Each post has a plurality of slots provided therethrough. The sidewall further includes an inner wall which is formed of a one-piece continuous liner secured to the plurality of posts. The liner has a plurality of slots provided therethrough which are in communication with the plurality of slots provided through the posts. The slots provided through the liner may either be commensurate in size to the slots provided through the posts, or may be larger than the slots provided through the posts. Equipment can be engaged with the slots. The inner wall may also have a scuff plate attached thereto at a bottom thereof in order to protect the inner wall.
