The cooler has a housing wall (4) having an exterior surface (6) and an inner surface (10). A cooling agent line (8) is provided, being in connection with only the exterior surface of the housing wall. The cooling agent line is provided in a groove (7) on the exterior of the housing wall. The distance between the housing wall and the cooling agent line over a peripheral angle of the cooling agent line is 90deg and on average less than 0.3 mm. An independent claim is included for a radiator.
