The method of the invention aims to bake simultaneously and on both sides thin pancakes outside an oven by means of preheated shells. The ceramic, preferably bowl shaped, shells are piled up in collecting containers and put in an electric powered or gas burned heating oven where the shells are preheated to a temperature between 450 and 550 degrees Celsius. The heated shells are then taken out of the oven and successively piled up again with interposition of, preferably liquid, paste. The pancakes are baked simultaneously and oh both sides, solely by the heat transfer from the preheated shells without any additional supply of external heat. Multiple amounts of pancakes can be produced in a few minutes on a restricted working area by means of a small oven. |
