The present invention relates to a method of controlling data transmission for
a multimedia/broadcast service (MBS) in a broadband wireless access system. In
a data transmission control method for a multicast broadcast service (MBS) in
a broadband wireless access system, the present invention includes the steps
of receiving information for a downlink burst profile suitable for receiving
MBS data from at least one mobile subscriber station, selecting a downlink
burst profile suitable for transmitting the MBS data using the information for
the downlink burst profile, and transmitting the MBS data to the at least one
mobile subscriber station using the selected downlink burst profile.
