<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system for removing catalyst-poisoning and maximizing a catalyst activity. <P>SOLUTION: The system comprises a fuel supply source 10 supplying fuel with hydrogen included therein so as to oxidize carbon monoxide, remove the catalyst-poisoning and maximize the catalyst activity, an oxygen supply source 20 supplying oxygen, one or more electricity generation units 40 generating electricity by an electrochemical reaction caused from oxidization of the fuel supplied from the supply source 10 or a hydrogen gas generated from the fuel and a reduction of the oxygen supplied from the supply source 20, and a poisoning removing unit 80 removing the catalyst-poisoning by applying an inverse voltage when the catalyst-poisoning due to the carbon monoxide occurs and voltages are decreased to less than a set value in the generation units 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
