PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information collection management system capable of suppressing data loss as much as possible regardless of increase in users, and an information reading terminal for use in the same. SOLUTION: When being in a low-power consumption mode, a plurality of information reading terminals are shifted to a normal operation mode a prescribed time before information transmission times respectively designated by a management device and transmit information to the management device via a network at the information transmission times in the normal operation mode (steps S3 to S8).
