PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular alarm device capable of properly alerting people in a periphery of a vehicle in response to circumstances. SOLUTION: When a person in a periphery or a neighborhood of the vehicle is detected as an alarm output object (step S100), a distance between the alarm output object and the vehicle is detected (step S110). Alarm output setting is carried out on the basis of the detected distance to the alarm output object (step S200). At this point, the alarm output setting is carried out by at least one of selection of the type of the alarm, or output level adjustment of the alarm. For example, when the distance to the alarm output object is large, an output level (volume) of the alarm is increased, and when the distance to the alarm output object is small, the output level (the volume) of the alarm is reduced.
