PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise and improve transmission efficiency of a power transmission chain. SOLUTION: The chain 1 includes a plurality of links 2 and a plurality of pairs of first and second pins 3, 4 connecting the links 2 with each other so as to be bendable. A cross section shape of a front part 12 of each of the first pins 3 includes a curve approximate to an involute curve, and a change rate reduction part 25 is provided in the front part 12. Due to this, when the links 2 adjacent to each other in a chain advancing direction X are bent, acceleration of the corresponding first pin 3 with respect to the second pin 4 forming a pair of the first pin 3 is suppressed, and unnecessary motion of the chain 1 is suppressed.
