PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor and a bearing for the motor easy to manufacture and enabling to freely keep capacity of oil reservoir. SOLUTION: A rotary shaft 7 and an oil bearing 22 rotatably supporting the rotary shaft 7 are provided. The oil bearing 2 includes one bearing section 22a and another bearing section 22b arranged with butting in a rotary shaft direction. An insertion hole 8 for the rotary shaft 7 is formed on one bearing section 22a and another bearing section 22b. Recess parts 31a, 31b are formed on a mating surface of one bearing section 22a and another bearing section 22b.
