PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boom type crane with a jib which can stably support a telescopic jib by reducing the stress at a support part supporting the telescopic jib, and expand the reaching range of an auxiliary hook by reducing an attack angle of the jib. SOLUTION: The telescopic jib 31 is turnably connected in a vertical surface with a pin 35 on a base end of a frame body 34 turnably connected on the tip end of the telescopic boom by a shaft 33. The wire is wound between a guide sheave 39 of the tip end of the frame body and a guide sheave 41 fixed to respective jibs 31a, 31b, 31c composing the telescopic jib 31. The frame body 34 wherein respective jibs 31a, 31b, 31c are supported by the wire 43 is provided, and the stress of the support part supporting the telescopic jib 31 is reduced since the distance between the pin 35 and the guide sheave 39 can be lengthened.
