The hydraulic equalisation element (1) has a hollow cylindrical housing (2) and a pressure piston (3) that are axially joined together and moveable relative to one another. The base (4) of the pressure piston has a central passage (5) for hydraulic material that comes from the pressure piston's sealed supply chamber (6) between the base of the pressure piston and an associated base (7) of the housing's high pressure chamber. There is a return valve (10) on the side (9) of the high pressure chamber. A disc-like body (11) runs in the supply chamber that flexibly floats in the hydraulic material.
