<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document processor, a document processing method and a program, constructing a document in a format wherein a concept of a record is taken in when converting the document based on a template file produced by a variable printing system into an original format and taking in it, so as to allow suitable operation to a concept unit of an original record. <P>SOLUTION: In this document processor, a computer 100 issues a print job for printing document data wherein designated variable data are applied to a designated area to a printer 107. In the computer 100, template data allowing merging of the variable data on the basis of the record are imported.
