<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring system and a monitoring method for industrial waste or the like, perfectly monitoring an industrial waste-containing waste container to incineration to confirm proper processing. <P>SOLUTION: This monitoring system for the industrial waste or the like comprises at least: a data processor of a data management center 11 managing necessary information in a lump; a wireless connection function-equipped portable information terminal possessed by an occupant of a collecting carrier vehicle of a collection transporter 31, freely performing writing/reading of the necessary information to an IC tag of the IC tag-equipped waste container present in a place of a discharger 21; GPS cellphones on the collecting carrier vehicle both sides each having a wireless connection function receiving IC tag information read from the IC tag, and transmitting the IC tag information to the data management center 11 side; and a gate type tag reader finally reading the IC tag information from the IC tag just before the IC tag-equipped waster container carried in a place of a disposer 41 is put into an incinerator, and transmitting it to the data management center 11 side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
