<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parallel-serial conversion circuit and a parallel-serial converting method capable of performing high-speed parallel-serial conversion with a low frequency clock. <P>SOLUTION: The parallel-serial conversion circuit for converting n-bit parallel data into serial data is provided with an inputting part 2 for inputting parallel data, a clock generating part 1 for generating an n-phase data clock group having phase difference obtained by equally dividing a parallel data frequency into n parts by the same frequency as an input frequency of the parallel data, a synchronizing part for synchronizing each bit of the parallel data with each phase of the n-phase data clock group and outputting it as a synchronous data group, and a signal selecting part 4 for selecting synchronous data corresponding to the state of the data clock group from the synchronous data group and outputting the synchronous data as serial data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
