<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and exactly detect the disturbance or interference of a GPS satellite signal as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: This system for detecting an event of GPS signal disturbance uses one or a plurality cellular remote communication networks, for example, a certain CDMA-based cellular phone network, in which GPS signals are received at various base stations which are geographically scattered for timing or synchronization. Data routing subsystems for routing data about the interruption of the received GPS signal detected by the base stations to a real time national database are prepared in each base station. The database is constituted so that the received data are stored, processed and accessed by important persons of the government or others in order to assess GPS interference at geographical areas to be covered by a cellular network.
