<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a function to properly determine the hierarchical structure of parentheses or the like even about pieces of information whose correspondence is not necessarily clear for such a reason as the parentheses not having a nested structure. <P>SOLUTION: The information processor having a search means for searching leading and trailing parentheses is provided with a determining means for determining whether or not a leading parenthesis and a trailing parenthesis form a pair. Information about the leading and trailing parentheses determined to form one pair is outputted to an information output means, whereby another information processor is allowed to add process reference information later. Further, areas surrounded by the leading and trailing parentheses determined by the determining means to form pairs may be given different colors when displayed on a screen.
