PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide interphase insulating paper which hardly causes dislocation or breakdown at a coil end in the shaping process for trimming the shape of the coil end or in the lacing process for fixing the coil end, and a motor which is equipped with the interphase insulating paper. SOLUTION: In the interphase insulating paper comprising insulating parts 51 which are arranged at both ends of a stator core for performing the interphase insulation of each coil and a plurality of connections 52 which connect two insulating parts 51, being inserted into the slot between teeth, the above connections 52 are provided with folded sections 52a, etc., whereby the folded sections 52a, etc. can expand and contract when tension works on the insulating parts 51.
