PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a helical type antenna which is efficiently obtained using neither an expensive wire rod nor a spring material, etc. but using an extremely inexpensive wire rod. SOLUTION: The helical type antenna 10 is constituted in such a manner that it has a coil part 6 which is formed by winding a conductive wire rod and is inserted into a case body 8 at least the one end of which is opened, and having a cut connected to the one opened end, and rewind of the coil part 6 due to spring back is suppressed by the case body into which the coil part is inserted and edges of the conductive wire rod on both edges of the coil part 6 are led out from the cut.
