PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the precision of control over data transmission. SOLUTION: A processing section 22 transmits data corresponding to at least one of a plurality of antennas 12 from the antenna 12. A control section 30 generates a request signal for making a 2nd radio device provide rate information of a 2nd radio device. The processing section 22, when transmitting the request signal, transmits known signals corresponding to the plurality of respective antennas 12 from the plurality of antennas 12 including antennas 12 other than the antenna 12 for transmitting the data.
