PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolytic capacitor which has a high efficiency of accommodation within a package and is suitable for lamination. SOLUTION: Both surfaces of a plate-like aluminum foil are masked with an insulating resin with a plurality of excessive blocks, an etching layer is formed in the measure blocks, a dielectric oxide film is formed on the etching layer, a solid electrolytic layer and a cathode conductive layer are formed in the measure blocks, a plurality of groups of capacitor elements are provided in the same aluminum foil, and the structure is cut into respective capacitor elements. An external anode terminal is welded to an end face of the cut capacitor element. A plurality of the aluminum foils each having the capacitor element group provided thereon are previously laminated, integrated, cut into respective capacitor elements, and an external anode terminal is welded to each end face of the cut elements.
