PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor array circuit which is capable of realizing a nearly uniform frequency step and of enlarging a variable range of frequency, and to provide a voltage-controlled oscillator that uses the same. SOLUTION: A capacitor C0 and a switching transistor QN0 are connected in series between terminals VCOout1 and VCOout2, a capacitor C1 and a switching transistor QN1 are connected together in series between the terminals VCOout1 and VCOout2, in parallel with the circuit composed of the capacitor C0 and the switching transistor QN0, ..., a capacitor Cn and a switching transistor QNn are connected in series in parallel with the above circuits, and trimming signals Ts are inputted to the switching transistors through their gates to control their conduction.
