PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-stage click switch, low in price, high in reliability, and possible to decrease the number of constituent part items and being miniaturized. SOLUTION: The multi-stage click switch 21 is equipped with a contact circuitry body 25 in which switch contacts 41a, 41b, 42a, 42b are installed oppositely to pressing parts 36a, 36b, 37a, 37b, respectively, provided on the rear surface of a control knob 35 mounted on a housing 32 swingably, and with a rubber switch member 30 furnished with rubber contacting parts 28a, 28b, 29a, 29b capable of opening and closing the switch contacts one after another at two stages in following-up after depression of each pressing part. Each rubber contacting part itself uses a resilient repulsive force and generates appropriate click stop feeling when the knob 35 being manipulated. The rubber contacting part 28a/29a is furnished with an over-stroke means to refrain from generation of such click stop feeling in the period after their respective electrically leading piece 22a/23a contacts with the confronting switch contact 41a/42a till the completion of the switching motion of the part 28a/29a.
