PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a metal annular component that improves material efficiency and manufacturing yield, reduces cost, and allows characteristic variations to be small. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method comprises: a first step of obtaining a first annular member 101 by cutting a pipe-shaped metal member 10 having a predetermined inner diameter d01 and outer diameter d02 along a direction of length thereof; and a second step of forming a second annular member having an inner diameter and an outer diameter at least one of which is different from the predetermined inner diameter d01 and outer diameter d01 by subjecting the first annular member 101 obtained in the first step to compression molding at least once.
