PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that minimizes display space by enabling a plurality of pieces of information for display to be displayed in the same area, and that enables corrections to be completed in a short time. SOLUTION: The display device 1 has a patterned part 20 formed on one side of a translucent base 10 where a○-pattern 21 allowing green light to pass through, a×-pattern 22 allowing red light to pass through, and a▵-pattern 23 allowing blue light to pass through are formed in the same area. A light source 30 having a green LED 31, a red LED 32 and a blue LED 33 is disposed on the other side of the base 10 as opposed to the patterned part 20. As either of the LEDs 31-33 is turned on, one of the patterns 21-23 whose translucent color matches the emission color of the LED turned on is displayed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
