PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for determining a tapped hole capable of precisely determining a tapped hole, and its program. SOLUTION: The apparatus 101 for determining a tapped hole includes a tapped hole information storage means for storing tapped hole information consisting of element data about a circle on a CAD drawing; a comparison means for comparing element data obtained from CAD drawing data with element data included in the tapped hole information and for determining whether or not the element data represents a tapped hole according to the result of the comparison; and an output means for outputting information about the element data determined to represent the tapped hole.
