PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector in which the generation of cross talk is prevented. SOLUTION: In the optical connector 1, a pair of projected parts 53 is formed on a back wall 50 which faces to the back face of the light emitting side FOT 5 and the light receiving side FOT 6 of a shield case 7, and an FOT partition wall 28 is formed for preventing cross talk projecting and crossing between the light emitting side FOT 5 and the light receiving side FOT 6 in an FOT housing part 9. When the shield case 7 is fitted to a connector housing 2 to cover the light emitting side FOT 5 and the light receiving side FOT 6, the edge 29 of the FOT partition wall 28 is positioned by being inserted between the pair of projected parts 53.
