<p>The invention relates to a product which is intended for the treatment of animals that have been diagnosed as requiring a therapeutic treatment. The inventive product is characterised in that it comprises the following components which are separate but intended to be mixed together, namely: a non-foaming base which constitutes a dosage form that is intended for topical application and/or dermatological treatment; and a concentrated preparation containing at least one component which has a reduced biological activity but which can acquire a maximum biological activity in relation to the desired treatment by means of a suitable change in pH, preferably to pH 6-7. According to the invention, the aforementioned at least one component with the activatable reduced biological activity is pre-mixed with at least one foaming agent and, optionally, at least one emulsifier in the concentrated preparation. Moreover, the pH of the concentrated preparation is maintained at less than approximately 5 or greater than 8, optionally by adjusting same with a suitable buffer.</p> |
