<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power steering device capable of smoothly performing the steering operation while suppressing the power consumption of a hydraulic motor, and an industrial vehicle having the power steering device. <P>SOLUTION: The power steering device P comprises a hydraulic pump 12 which has hydraulic mechanisms (7, 14) to transmit the operation of a steering wheel 8 to a steered wheel 3 to feed working fluid to the hydraulic mechanisms, and an electric-driven hydraulic motor 11 to feed working fluid to the hydraulic mechanisms by driving the hydraulic pump 12, and further comprises a control means 20 which sets the number of rotation of the hydraulic motor 11 according to the steering speed while operating the steering wheel 8, and sets the number of rotation of the hydraulic motor 11 to the value lower than that during the steering operation while stopping the operation of the steering wheel 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
