<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reading and recording apparatus wherein one sensor detects opening/closing of two doors such as a recording paper discharge tray and a cartridge door at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: In the image reading and recording apparatus, a cover member is openably/closably provided in front of a recording section, a discharge paper stack section for stacking sheets recorded by the recording section is openably/closably provided in front of the cover member, and the single opening/closing sensor provided to the image reading and recording apparatus is characterized in to sense the opening/closing of the two members comprising the discharge paper stack section and the cover member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
