<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a music LAN setting system facilitating setting music LAN by enabling creating setting concerning data exchange relation between various kinds of apparatuses on a music LAN in off-line. <P>SOLUTION: In this system, a setting apparatus such as a personal computer uses a graphical display screen Wd to create setting data including information of types of apparatuses (Da, Db) forming the music LAN and information about plugs (Pas1-Pbr2) for logically indicating the exchange relation of data between the apparatuses or line connections (Lm, Ln), on the basis of previously prepared apparatus information. The setting data are recorded as templates in an external storage device. After that, while the setting apparatus is connected to an actual music LAN, a template desired by a user is read from the plurality of templates stored in the external storage device, and the data exchange relation is set for the same apparatus as an apparatus of template apparatus information on the actual music LAN on the basis of the information about the plug and line connection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
