PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control unit for readily measuring the position of a survey point, without having to carry a reflecting target. SOLUTION: The remote control unit is provided with a light-emitting part (3) and the reflective target (5) on a front face (14) of the remote control unit (1) for a survey machine along with a magnetic sensor (17). The remote control unit is provided with a scale (6) for measuring offset from the measuring position of the reflecting target on a side face (16) and the rear face (19) of the remote control unit, and adds a collimation mark (7), indicating the center of the reflective target on the circumference of the reflecting target.
