PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clinically promising detection means of human Apo A-V, and to detect lipid metabolism abnormality using the detection means. SOLUTION: In a detection method of the human Apo A-V protein, an antibody against the human Apo A-V protein is produced, and a calibration value of a protein determined by bringing the antibody into contact with a known quantity of the human Apo A-V protein is compared with a calibration value of a protein acquired by bringing the antibody into contact with a specimen, to thereby determine the human Apo A-V protein in the specimen.
