PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a customer service system utilizing a touch panel device, capable of serving a customer corresponding to the needs of the customer, and its customer service method. SOLUTION: The customer service system is provided with the touch panel device and a processor connected to the touch panel device. The touch panel device comprises: an image information display means for projecting images received from the processor; a sensing means for sensing a part pressed with a finger by the customer from the image projected at the image information display means; and a means for transmitting specified signals to the processor on the basis of image contents displayed at the part sensed in the sensing means. The processor comprises: an image information data base where image information to be displayed at the touch panel device is registered; an image information selection means for selecting the image information to be projected at the touch panel device next from the image information data base on the basis of the specified signals received from the touch panel device; and a means for transmitting the image information selected in the image information selection means to the touch panel device.
