METHOD FOR IMPROVING ANTIBODY

It is intended to provide a method for improving a property such as the
expression level or stability of an antibody. A method for obtaining an
antibody whose expression level and/or stability is increased by improving a
human antibody or a humanized antibody characterized by replacing at least any
one of amino acids at positions 8, 12, 15 and 18 (according to the Kabat
numbering) in the light chain variable region (hereinafter referred to as VL
chain) of human antibody or humanized antibody with another amino acid other
than proline or cysteine and a human antibody, a humanized antibody, or a
fragment of human antibody or humanized antibody whose expression level and/or
stability is increased obtained by the method.
