DISTORTION COMPENSATING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distortion compensating device for compensating distortion produced from an amplifier for generating distortion with a frequency of (2×f2-f1) and distortion with a frequency of (2×f1-f2) in the case of amplifying a signal with a frequency f1 and a signal with a frequency f2. SOLUTION: A sideband generating means of the distortion compensating device configured to include: an amplitude circuit 9; a delay circuit 10; an amplitude modulator 13; an amplitude circuit 11; a delay circuit 12; and a phase modulator 14 applies amplitude modulation and phase modulation to the signal amplified by the amplifier 15 to produce a sideband with the frequency of (2×f2-f1) or with the frequency of (2×f1-f2) and uses the sideband with either of the frequencies to compensate the distortion produced by the amplifier.
