PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument for vehicles capable of reducing an occupied space more than before when a plurality of measured quantities are displayed and excellent in visibility, and to provide a combination meter provided with the same. SOLUTION: In the instrument 10 for vehicles, measured quantities on vehicle conditions are displayed by indicating display designs provided for a dial by a turning pointer. The dial has both a fixed part 11 provided with a first display design 18a corresponding to traveling speed and a movable part 12 provided with a second display design 18b corresponding to the number of engine revolutions, arranged concentrically with the fixed part 11, and rotating on its center. The pointer 14 is turned in such a way as to indicate a part corresponding to the traveling speed of the first display design 18a provided for the fixed part 11, and the movable part 12 is turned in such a way as to arrange a part corresponding to the number of engine revolutions of the second display design 18b provided for the movable part 12 in the direction of indication of the pointer 14.
