PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust heat recovery system for a vehicle compact and reducing a cost without lowering exhaust heat recovery efficiency. SOLUTION: A motor 24 for driving a pump 11 and a compressor 21 is provided to be coupled to a rotary shaft of the pump 11 and to a rotary shaft of the compressor 21. The compressor 21 and the motor 24 are coupled through a first clutch 25 for connecting and disconnecting transmission of power from the motor 24 to the pump 11. The pump 11 and the motor 24 are coupled through a second clutch 26 for connecting and disconnecting transmission of power from the motor 24 to the pump 11. The motor 24 is electrically connected to the positive terminal 4a of a battery 4 through an inverter 5. A power generator 15 is electrically connected to the positive terminal 4a of the battery 4 through an inverter 6. The negative terminal 4b of the battery 4 is grounded to the vehicle.
