PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating agent for a fluid contact surface which can be easily applied to a material contacting with a fluid without having an adverse affect on environment and which prevent the function required to a member having a light transmittance from inhibiting, and a material body equipped with the coating agent for the fluid contact surface. SOLUTION: The coating agent is applied to the member having the fluid contact surface and prevents aquatic microorganisms from adhering to the surface. The coating agent comprises 2-methacryloyloxyethylphosphocholine or a polymer having a constitutional unit which is induced from 2-methacryloyloxyethylphosphocholine. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
