PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binding apparatus which can perform an operation to bind the rim of a lid of a plastic package efficiently and sanitarily and in which a paper-made binding means is used so that it can be found easily even if it enters into a food or the like without drinking it by mistake and which can provide a good appearance binding. SOLUTION: A seal piece press-bonding device for a chuck comprises an operation gripping part 2 provided with a grip part 3 and a press-button 4 forced to be projected upward usually on the gripping part, a holder 20 pivoted to the gripping part rotatably, a sheet roll 30 wound with a release sheet 32 on which a seal piece 31 having a sticking face on one side is adhered at a predetermined interval, a cartridge 40 supporting the sheet roll rotatably and having a roller 42, a recess 23 to accept the lid, the tip of the rim of which is in contact with the sticking face of the seal piece, a pressure member 24 which can be projected and retreated freely facing a holder side roller and an operation mechanism 50 to press-bonding the pressure member and the seal piece along the tip of the rim of the lid from the holder side roller by pressing the pressing-button to project the pressure member.
