PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily provide an optimal seating posture for an occupant of all physical constitutions, without complicating a constitution of a position adjusting mechanism, in a seating posture adjusting device of an automobile having the position adjusting mechanism for adjusting a relative position of an operation means of a vehicle and a seating surface of a seat cushion. SOLUTION: While arranging a slide part 21 between a support member 15 arranged on a floor panel 2 so that the vehicle front side becomes high and the vehicle front side of the seat cushion 11, a link part 22 is arranged between the vehicle front side and the vehicle rear side of the seat cushion 11. An elastic member 70 having a plurality of projection strips 70b, 70b, etc. extending forward and upward to the vehicle from a plate-like base part 70a, is arranged in a cushion part 11a of the seat cushion 11.
